These kids of mine thought trick-or-treating was just the best thing ever. Charlie knew the routine this year and after sporting his costume to preschool, was excited to get out and collect candy. He spent a fair amount of time admiring his muscles. Stella LOOOVVVEEDD her owl costume and kept announcing that her new owl costume was "too pitty" then she discovered that it had wings and told us she could fly "reawwy high with my wings." After every single house, she turn toward us, candy in hand and yell, "I have so fun!" Then she would just sprint. No idea where she was going, but boy was she happy and running, running, running. Charlie was scoping out the best routes, but also taking time to make up a few Halloween ditties (amazing) and marvel at the beautiful evening and the beautiful stars (it was completely cloudy). I sure love his enthusiasm.
