The little miss has started saying all kinds of new words. Her favorite thing is to chant, "no, no, no" while laughing and doing things she's not supposed to. She has also stopped calling me "mama" and has started yelling, "MA!" instead. She uses this often. It is mostly to summon me to help her, or when she is pounding on a closed door.
She also yells "Da" and "Nana" and parrots all the words the kids try to teacher her. Yesterday while I was cutting her nails, she pulled her hand away, looked me in the eye and said, "don't". Such attitude!
Also, her passion for waving at anybody and everybody (and sometimes nobody at all) has not waned. She has moved to a two-handed wave to emphasize her passion. She chants "hi" over and over, but we never get sick of it. She loves that the same action can be used when she says "bye". She understands so much that we say. When shown a picture of the family, she can point to everybody when you ask who they are. She has finally started signing "more" and chanting "mo, mo" which helps me enormously. She throws her arms up when she's all done and waves when she wants something. She still relies a lot on the lunging and grunting.
She says, "ow" and "uh-oh". She is cute as can be and has really started walking; Sometimes even attempting the stiff-legged cowboy run. As always, she is a dream. She's easing off the bottle and drinking mostly water. She still adores her blankie and binkie when she naps and she loves to wrestle with her dad. She ducks her head and crawls straight into him. She rolls and dives and climbs on him and thinks the whole thing is hysterical. Man, we love her.
