We have been busy, but happy this summer. We've made lots of time for water, time for friends and dirt, chalk and bugs. We've had more nightly baths than ever before and less tv time. There is a constant dirt ring around the tub. There are toys strewn around our yard. There are filthy clothes and half dressed children and begging to "play in dirt" (from Stella) and "work on a construction projec" from Charlie. We've already gone through two bottles of sunscreen. We've done absolutely nothing special. They just play in the backyard and they think they've died and gone to heaven.

| Charlie always finds a friend-usually one who is at least 4 years older than him. |

| Family time in the dirt on Sunday afternoon. And some of us wear catcher's masks |

Being a mom is so glamorous.
Helping Grandpa weed (aka shoving handfuls of dirt down her shirt and sneezing everywhere) |
On the night of the spilled milk, everything went wrong, Cam was at young men's and he got a text that said, "I took our monsters for a walk. Don't come in the back door, there's a gallon of milk on the floor"
The best part of summer is that you can throw your monsters in the stroller, go for a walk and start over!
